FAQ
-
Ace It Forward is primarily built for kids and teenagers ages 8-14. No tennis experience is required, and many of the kids who go through the program have never played before.
-
So far, we’ve partnered with organizations that offer the entirety of the camp, including tennis instruction and workshops, free for participants.
-
Ace It Forward currently runs through partner tennis camps and community organizations rather than as a standalone program you register for directly. If you're interested in future sessions, fill out our interest form below to be notified of any potential openings within our partner camps for your child.
-
Since we partner with different organizations, the day-to-day schedules differ based on the camp. Typically, camps run tennis instruction in the morning, followed by hands-on workshops in the afternoon covering entrepreneurship, personal branding, or financial literacy, depending on the week.
-
Your child will learn basic tennis instruction, covering groundstrokes, volleys, serves, and simple tennis terminology. Afterwards, kids work through real projects instead of lectures. Past sessions have included designing a product to solve a real problem, practicing a 30-second elevator pitch, and learning the basics of budgeting and saving.
-
The tennis instructors are hired by the organizations we partner with. Andy, the founder of Ace It Forward, leads all of the entrepreneurship, personal branding, and financial literacy sessions personally, and often helps with tennis coaching as well.
